Men's Hormone Health
Low testosterone saps energy, drive, and vitality — and it's far more common than most men realize. Properly diagnosed, it's also very treatable.
Overview
Testosterone is the primary male hormone, governing libido, energy, muscle, mood, and drive. When levels fall below a healthy range — a condition called hypogonadism — men often notice a steady decline in how they feel and function. Levels naturally dip with age, but weight gain, metabolic conditions, certain medications, and other factors can accelerate the drop.
Symptoms
The most common symptoms are low libido, persistent fatigue, reduced motivation, difficulty building or keeping muscle, increased body fat, low mood, and trouble concentrating. Because these creep in gradually and overlap with stress and aging, low T is frequently missed. We cover the full picture on our low testosterone symptoms page.
Diagnosis
Diagnosis requires blood work — typically total and free testosterone drawn in the morning when levels peak, often confirmed on a second test, plus related markers. We interpret results against your symptoms, not just the lab range. See our TRT monitoring & labs page for what we measure and why.
Treatment
When low T is confirmed and symptomatic, testosterone replacement therapy restores levels to a healthy range. There are several delivery methods, each with trade-offs — we match the option to your goals and lifestyle on our TRT treatment options page, and monitor closely for safety.
